Melissa Mahar’s Biography
Melissa Mahar is one of the original founding board members of Pine Springs Prep. Melissa received her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from St. Bonaventure University and an MSEd in Elementary Education from SUNY Brockport in 1999. Melissa has taught elementary school in both Rochester, New York, and San Diego, California. She is also a certified holistic health and life coach.
After spending several years as a stay at home mom to her three boys, she has spent the past two years working at PSPA as K–2 instructional support and most recently as 7th-grade health and elective teacher. She is super excited to join the second-grade team this year.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys traveling with her husband of 20 years, Dan, and her three boys Jack (17), Tate (15), and Finn (12).
