Likia Smith’s Biography

Ms. Smith is a proud 2nd-grade teacher at Pine Springs Preparatory Academy. She is originally from Naples, Italy, and comes from a strong military family. Ms. Smith graduated from Grambling State University with a degree in Marketing and Management and also has a Masters Degree.

She has been teaching since 2009 and has served kindergarten through fifth grade. Ms. Smith was nominated for “Teacher of the Year” 2016–2017 while teaching at Sallie B. Howard School for the Arts in Wilson, NC. She now resides in Apex with her two daughters Nyana and Makeda.
