Jacob Verschueren’s Biography
Hello! My name is Mr. Verschueren, and I joined Pine Springs Prep during its second year as the 7th-grade science teacher. I grew up on the west coast of Michigan and moved to NC during the summer of 2018. I studied physics, mathematics, and secondary education at Hope College, in Holland, Michigan, and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in 2016. I spent my first two years of teaching at Niles New Tech Entrepreneurial Academy, a project-based high school in Niles, Michigan. The 2018–2019 school year will be my first experience teaching middle school students, and I am very excited to do experiments and projects with them!
