Amy Bruce’s Biography
Welcome to my class webpage! I moved to NC several years ago with my family from Texas where I taught Physical Education for 6 years. Prior to that, I was a homeroom teacher in grades Pre-K–2nd grade for 9 years. I love teaching about health, nutrition, and fitness. I have an extensive background in group fitness, weight training, and overall health.
When not teaching, I spend most of my time outdoors with my husband, and sons Rylan and Merrick. We love hiking, jogging, and playing sports in our driveway. We love the beach, as well as the mountains. (NC is perfect for that!) I love going to sporting events—and when rooting for a sports team, it’s all about home sweet home- Chicago! Go, Cubs!
